Product Description The iPod Nano is available in 2GB and 4GB capacity models, both using NAND flash memory for storage, so there is no skipping during playback of MP3, AAC and DRM audio file types. Music file storage capacity is 500 or 1,000 songs (on the 2.0 GB and 4.0 GB versions respectively in 128-Kbps AAC format). The Nano is capable of storing and viewing up to 25,000 "iPod Nano-viewable" photographs on its 1.5 inch color TFT screen. Other features include a contact list, calendar, and the ability to store and transfer data files in the same manner as a USB drive. PC connectivity is accomplished with a proprietary USB cable which also recharges the Nano's non-removable 3.7V Li Ion Polymer battery. Battery life is claimed to be 14 hours of continuous music playback.
