Product Description
| The Motorola Milestone is Motorola’s Droid version for Europe release in Q4 of 2009. It is a quad-band GSM, dual-band W-CDMA phone running the Android 2.0 OS. The Milestone has the same physical dimensions as the US released Droid along with equivalent features such as GPS, a 5MP camera, a full QWERTY keyboard, and a capacitive touch-screen display. However, the Milestone has enabled full multi-touch (namely pinch-and-zoom) which was not enabled on the US Droid despite hardware support for the feature. Using either the cellular network or WiFi, the Milestone has web access, Google Mail, Google Search, Google Talk, and the Android Market. There is a speakerphone, headset jack, and Bluetooth for hands-free calls.
The Milestone is powered by the same 3.7V Li-Ion battery as the Motorola Droid. It has a 3.7” 480 x 854 pixel TFT-LCD display with over 16 million colors, and had a measured weight of 168.5 grams.
