Portelligent, founded in 2000, was a spin-out of the Austin, Texas-based MCC research consortium. The founders of Portelligent were members of the research staff at MCC, and conducted initial development of our product teardown methodologies within the consortium. Portelligent operated as an independent information services company until its acquisition by United Business Media in November 2007.
Portelligent now belongs to the TechInsights group of United Business Media.
