Product Description
|  The Barnes & Noble nook adds a new feature to the growing number of “electronic book readers”: a 3.5-inch, color touchscreen below the 6.0-inch E-Ink reading display. The nook runs the Android 1.5 operating system and can operate for up to a claimed 10 days on the removable 3.7V Li-ion battery. An AT&T SIM card (activated with purchase of the nook) allows users to download ebooks from Barnes & Noble’s online bookstore wherever cell coverage is provided. With the built-in WiFi enabled, the nook can also download ebooks over local-area wireless connections. In addition to the 2GB of onboard memory, a microSD socket allows for memory expansion.
