Product DescriptionThe Belkin Wireless Pre-N Router and Network Card are based on Airgo's MIMO (Multiple-Input Multiple Output) - OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) technology. The wireless devices use smart antenna technology and are backward compatible with the existing 802.11 b and g standards. The manufacturer claims an 800% wider coverage and 600% faster information rates than standard 802.11g; however there is no guarantee that the products will be compatible or upgradeable to the final 802.11n standard when ratified.
