Product DescriptionThe BenQ-Siemens S88 tri-band GSM phone with GPRS was released in the first quarter of 2006 by BenQ-Siemens Mobile. The phone is equipped with a high-contrast 262K color 2-inch OLED screen and a 2.0 megapixel camera with auto focus lens and 16x digital zoom. MPEG4 video capture is also supported and a high brightness LED flashlight is provided for low-light conditions. Photographs can be touched-up using the built-in photo editor software and the phone supports PictBridge, which sends an image to a photo printer. The S88 has an internal user memory of 16 MB, expandable with the microSD (TransFlash) card slot. A built-in music player is compatible with MP3, AAC+, and AMR formats. The lithium-ion battery is claimed to provide 3 hours and 20 minutes of talk time and 200 hours of standby time. Other features include Bluetooth 1.1
connectivity, USB interface, WAP 2.0 and xHTML browser, 64 polyphonic ring tones with 3D surrounding sound, vibration alert, voice memo, games with changeable games, T9 predictive text, currency converter, and a clock with a stopwatch.
