Product Description

The Health Buddy appliance is a personal, easy to use, in-home communication and telemedical device. The Health Buddy connects patients in their homes to their care providers and is a key element of the overall Bosch telehealth system. The appliance has a 7-inch 480 x 234 pixel TFT color display and four simple, intuitive control buttons. Key features of the Health Buddy include an easy-to-use, patient centric design, support for multiple languages, a friendly tutorial preloaded on each appliance, and remote configuration for patient customization. Connectivity is provided by phone, Ethernet, Bluetooth, and Infrared, with support for multiple medical device ports as well. The Health Buddy interfaces to various medical devices to permit measurement of parameters including blood glucose level, blood pressure, oxygen saturation, peak flow, and weight.
