Product DescriptionThe Casio EX-Z50 looks like its Exilim predecessor, the EX-Z40, but uses a 5.0 mega pixel CCD imager (instead of 4.0) and has 10% longer battery life. The camera is similar in form and function to its big brother, the EX-Z55, but with a smaller 2" TFT color display (instead of 2.5"). Like the Z55, the camera comes with a 1230mAh lithium-ion battery (NP-40), and a docking cradle that can be used as a desktop calendar or slideshow, as well as the USB download and charging stand. Both cameras feature the retractable Pentax 3X optical zoom lens system, 7-point auto focus, real image optical viewfinder, 9.3 megabytes of internal storage plus expansion card slot, movies with sound, aluminum alloy body, and auto focus that extends through the macro range.
