Product Description

Is it a camera capable of making phone calls or a phone with a built-in camera? That’s the question regarding the new Exilim W63CA from Casio, featuring an 8.1MP camera with a CMOS image sensor. The W63CA, which operates on the KDDI “au” CDMA-EVDO network, is referred to as a “super phone.” With its flip-style form factor, this stylish camera-phone also features a 3.1-inch WVGA OLED display and a 28mm lens. Other features include Bluetooth 2.4FH1, infrared data communication, media player, video capture at 30fps, 600MB internal memory, microSD slot, swivel display (180-degree rotation), four backlight options, three screen font options, and a host of other software (see page 20, for example). The W63A is not a lightweight device in size either, weighing in at 122.6 grams including its single-cell, 3.7V, 830mAh, Li-ion battery. Casio reports a 3.8 hour talk time.
