Product DescriptionCobra’s iRadar is a fully-functional, standalone detector that provides the driver with specific voice alerts for radar and laser signals being detected. To get the full spectrum of traffic threat alerts, however, iRadar must be paired with an Android Smartphone (or in a sister product with identical cost, an Apple iOS iPhone). A free downloadable application allows iRadar to use the smartphone touchscreen as a surrogate display via Bluetooth. The GPS- enabled application also provides a map with regularly updated warnings of upcoming speed and red-light cameras and allows the user to control settings and log alert history.
