Product DescriptionThe HP iPAQ hw6515 PDA is based on an Intel® 312MHz PXA272 processor running Windows Mobile 2003 with Pocket PC versions of Outlook, Word, Excel and Internet Explorer. The built-in cellular capability provides voice and data via quad-band (850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz) service for world-wide coverage. Along with a 1.3MP SXGA camera for capturing still images and video, an internal GPS chipset represents what may be the first GPS-capable PDA for the PocketPC platform. The hw6515 can be connected directly to a PC or plugged into the docking accessory for file sharing and synchronization using the built-in iPAQ file management software. A square 3.0" transflective 240 x 240 TFT LCD with 65,536 colors serves as the visual interface while a QWERTY thumb-board affords an alternative to the standard touch screen input. Connectivity is provided by the communications port as well as Infrared and Bluetooth. The iPAQ hw6515 is lacking built-in Wi-Fi, however there are some available SDIO LAN cards that will work with the SDIO card slot in the unit.
