Product DescriptionThe HTC 3125, also known as the Star Trek, is a high-end clamshell handset manufactured by High Tech Computer Corporation (HTC) of Taiwan for Cingular in the US market. The 3125 is a quad-band GSM phone operating at 850, 900, 1800, and 1900 MHz, with GPRS and EDGE support for wireless data transfer. Short-range connectivity is accomplished via Bluetooth, IrDA, and a mini-USB port. The Star Trek integrates two displays, a 1.2-inch external, 256K color, TFT-LCD, and a 2.2-inch, 256K internal TFT-LCD (the main display). Imaging features include a CMOS-based 1.3-megapixel color camera with 2X digital zoom and video-recording capability. A speaker is included for hands-free operation. The Windows Mobile 5.0 operating system and Windows Media Player 10 software comes preinstalled. Supported e-mail services are Cingular’s Xpress Mail, MSN Hotmail, and MSN Outlook. A microSD slot expands the memory capabilities of the Star Trek 3125. With a 3.7V, 1100mAh Li-ion prismatic, single-cell, battery, Cingular claims the product provides 4 hours of talk time with 144 hours of standby.
