Product Description

The T-Mobile Dash is a quad band GSM Smartphone with GPRS/EDGE capabilities. The Dash has a 65,536 TFT/TFD color display with 320 x 240 pixel resolution. Using TI’s OMAP 850, 200 MHz processor, the Dash is loaded with Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0 Smartphone software, Pocket MSN, Microsoft Outlook Mobile, Direct Push Technology to receive emails in real time, and ClearVue Suite. For memory, the Dash has 64MB SDRAM and 128MB Flash, yielding 23MB of user available memory. It has a 1.3 MP camera, Bluetooth, IrDA 1.2, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g, and a QWERTY keypad. It supports GPRS and EDGE class 10 packet data transfers, custom graphics and ring tones. It has flight mode, and Microsoft ActiveSync 4.2 for synchronizing to a PC. Other features include Internet Explorer Mobile, Windows Media Player, voice speed dialing, MMS, text messaging, instant messaging using either AIM, YAHOO!, or ICQ. The Dash is also loaded with T-Mobile’s My Email software and Hotspot utility. It includes a microSD/TransFlash port, a Comm manager, games, voice memo, a calendar, a to-do list, has vibrate alert, and can stream and record video. A side scroll bar allows for touch-based navigation. The T-Mobile Dash is also known as the HTC S620 Excalibur and HTC claims 5 hours of talk time and 220 hours of stand-by time with both being dependent on actual use conditions.
