Product DescriptionThe new Handspring Treo 600 combines a Palm- based organizer with wireless Web access, and a full-featured phone with built-in digital camera. Versions of the mobile phone are available for Dual-band CDMA or Quad-band GSM/GPRS. The latter is analyzed here. The phone/organizer features a small candy bar-style phone with a VGA digital camera and a full-duplex speakerphone on the back side, and a 4,000 color/160x160 pixel STN color display with a touch-sensitive screen and backlit QWERTY keyboard on the front side. Also featured are polyphonic ring-tones and alarms, a built-in 24MB user memory and expansion slot, and an infrared port. While the touch screen has no graffiti option, aftermarket software is available for handwriting, as well as for MP3 playback.
