Product Description

The Hitachi SH-G1000 CDMA 2000-1XRTT 1900MHz phone was released on July 24, 2003. The 3.5 inch TFT LCD main display provides 65K colors at 240 x 320 pixels. The Lithium Ion battery is claimed toprovide 150 minutes (2½ hours) of talk time and 168 hours or 7 days of standby time. The integrated VGA camera captures image at 640 x 480, 320 x 240, 160 x 120 resolutions at fine or normal quality settings and it also has 2X and 4X zoom. The camera swivels 180 degrees front to back to make taking pictureseasy and it has 5 white balance settings: auto, sunny, cloudy, fluorescent, and tungsten. For input purposes, it has QWERTY Keypad, scroll wheel, and buttons. Multiple input methodsare on-screen keyboard, letter recognizer, transcriber, and block recognizer. It has hands-free voice dial, speaker, and works with standard cell phone headsets to give more optionsfor users in dialing and having conversations. Sprint offers a 2.5 –3.5 mm standard stereo mini-jack adapter, so users can listen to MP3s and movies using standard headphones. It has MMC/SD (Multi Media Card/Secure Digital) expansion slot memory cards that allows sharing of large multimedia files between devices and increased memory capacity, but it is not SDIO compliant, so it can’t be used for WiFior Bluetooth networking. It has IrDA Infrared v1.2 communication port with 115kbps data rate. The processor unit is400MHz Intel® XScale™ PXA255, the memory capacity is 32MB of SDRAM. The OS for this handset is Windows Pocket PC 2002 Phone Edition, which is based on Windows XP. It has the Standard Windows Mobile Applications: Microsoft Pocket Excel, Microsoft Pocket Word, Outlook 2000, Windows Media Player, MSN Messenger and for Internet browsing, it uses Pocket Internet Explorer with Sprint PCS Vision Service. It has E911 GPS Feature for utilizing the E911 emergency locations services where available and for future location-based services. The handset can be synchronized with a computer via Microsoft Active Sync (version 3.7) and USB Mini-USB Type B or USB 4 pin-USB Type A cradle connections.
