Product Description The Kodak Zi8 is an improved version of last year’s Zi6. It competes favorably in the low-cost pocket camcorder market with such pioneers as Pure Digital. The new Zi8 is the first pocket cam to offer 1080p high-definition recording and image stabilization. The Zi8 also has a 5-megapixel still photo-taking mode, which the Flip still doesn’t provide. Other features include a flexible swing-out USB connector, removable Li-ion battery, SD/SDHC card slot, and the long-requested external microphone jack. This camcorder can also record 720p at 60fps and WVBA, employs smart face-tracking technology, and has a 2.5-inch color LCD.
