The only side key is a rocker type volume control button. The phone has A-GPS, is TTY/TDD compatible, and supports English, Spanish, and Portuguese. The KX9d also has polyphonic ring tones, vibrate alert, PC Sync, a USB port, picture ID, ringer ID, voice dialing, custom graphics and ringtones, 1xRTT packet data technology, eZiText, EMS/picture messaging, 2-way text messaging, and text templates.
