Product DescriptionReleased by LG in the European market in October 2008, the KS500 features a new thumbpad navigation control, the first of its kind for LG. This mid-range slider operates on both the GSM/EDGE network (900/1800/1900) and the W-CDMA/HSDPA (900/2100) network. The KS500 includes a 2.0-in. TFT-LCD (262,144 colors; 240 x 320 pixels) as well as a 3MP rear-facing camera capable of both still shots and video recording. With the forward-facing VGA camera, 3G video calls are also possible. Power is supplied by a 3.7V/950mAh Li-ion polymer battery offering a claimed talk time of 4 hours and standby time of 300 hours. Other features include A-GPS with mapping application, Bluetooth 2.0 A2DP, slide-out keypad, MP3 player, speakerphone, and microSD card.
