Product DescriptionThe LG-SU660 Optimus 2X is a high-end Smartphone with the 1 GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual-core processor for improved multi-tasking, Web-browsing speed, and Graphics. The Gorilla-glassed capacitive touch screen provides the primary user interface and access to the ever-growing applications menu offered for the Android 2.2 OS. The SU660 is enabled with Bluetooth, WiFi, and A-GPS. An 8MP camera with LED flash on the back-side of the phone can record and playback video in 1080p high definition. Also, a HDMI cable comes with for video out, enabling mirroring to other, larger, display devices. There is a second, 1.3 MP, camera on the front of the phone for video conferencing as well. Along with the usual smartphone goodies present, the made-for-Korea SU660 supports Terrestrial Digital Multimedia Broadcasting (T-DMB), a system that allows television programs to be transmitted in MPEG-4 AVC format. Currently, the broadcasts are offered free of charge to all of South Korea, but with expansion of a system first used in Germany during the Football World Cup in 2006, that may change.
