Product DescriptionAlthough not 3G capable, LG’s KE500 is still loaded with features. As part of the Shine product line, the KE500 is EDGE capable, works on 900, 1800, and 1900 MHz GSM bands, and has Bluetooth 2.0 capability. You can listen to music files or a FM Stereo radio via a Bluetooth headset, headphones, or through the speaker-phone. The KE500 has a 2MP camera with 4x digital zoom and a LED flash. You can look at pictures and watch recorded or streaming video on the 262,144-color, 176 x 220 pixel, TFT-LCD display. Pictures or videos can be shared using MMS, SMS, or e-mail, or stored using the phone’s 70MB of internal memory or a microSD memory card. The KE500 can also view and navigate the Internet using WAP 2.0. Other interesting features of the KE500 are the Flash UI and the modem data fax.
The LG KE500 also has other typical features, including personal management tools and support for music files in MP3, WMA, AAC, and AAC+ formats. The 3.7V Li-polymer battery is claimed to deliver up to 3 hours of talk time and up to 300 hours of standby time.
