Product DescriptionThe LG VX8600 is a dual band CDMA terminal. The “V” in the nomenclature indicates an association with Verizon Wireless. The handset is designed in the slim mode measuring ~15mm thick, near the Razr V3i range. The phone comes with a 1.3MP camera for still image and video capturing. The VX8600 is a clamshell design with dual displays. The internal TFT display is capable of rendering 262,144 colors on 220 x 176 pixels. The external LCD is a 160 x 128 pixel TFT with 65,536 color support. The phone also has a music player built-in for MP3 and WMA file formats, however the ever-present Verizon locks are in place making the user suffer through the web-based downloads. The unit supports Bluetooth for headsets, file sharing, and stereo headsets for music playback. A microSD card slot is available for storage expansion. The standard array of user tools are loaded for use as well.
