Product DescriptionThe BOOM (850) is the fourth Latte Communications GSM phone to be released in the U.S. market. Consistent with its name, the BOOM is a cell phone focused on delivering Digital Music. The BOOM is indeed a mini-boom box with an amplified speaker on either side of the 1.5” TFT-LCD display, allowing users to view videos while listening to the THUMP! of their favorite tunes. Other features include a 1.3MP CMOS camera with self-portrait mirror to capture still photos or action videos. The phonebook contact list and video-record time are dependant on available memory that’s expandable with the included 256MB microSD card (expandable to 1GB). There’s also an image editor and ring-tone composer. The BOOM also includes a built-in MP3/MP4 player, 64 Polyphonic sounds, SMS/MMS/WAP support, and Talking Menu & Intelligent Call Alert that lets the user know the caller by speaking the incoming numbers aloud using Speech Synthesis technology. Other features include a world clock, alarm, calculator, unit & currency converter, three pre-loaded games, stopwatch, and to-do list. Stereo ear-buds, travel charger, USB cable, user manual, and second battery also come with the phone.
