Product DescriptionMachine vision meets home entertainment in the “Kinect” sensor peripheral for Microsoft’s Xbox 360, a system that puts the players in the game by eliminating the game controller altogether. Through the use of a laser and cameras, the device tracks 48 points of body movement and supports multiple players. It also recognizes when an additional player has joined the game and adjusts accordingly. The device is said to recognize faces and voices, as well. The Kinect ships with the Kinect Adventures game pack and works with all existing Xbox 360 consoles. It can also be purchased bundled with the Xbox 360 console.
