Product DescriptionThe second-generation Zune was released to the market in November of 2007, a year and two months after the launch of the original Zune (September 2006). At 51.1 grams, the latest flash-based Zune is ~111 grams lighter and noticeably smaller than the original hard disk version. With its thin, sleek design, it appears to be aimed squarely at the Apple iPod Nano market. Featured in this report is the 8GB model, shown in red but also available in black, pink, and green. A 4GB model is also available. The 8GB model allows a user to store 2000 songs, 25,000 still photos, or 25 hours of video. This new Zune has a 1.8-inch color display with 320 x 240 resolution and a scratch-resistant LCD glass. It also features a new Touch Control Keypad, WiFi for syncing and file sharing, and a built-in FM radio. The Zune supports podcasting and can be connected to Microsoft’s Xbox.
