Product Description

Continuing the Motorola Droid lineage, the Droid2 adds improvements to the slide-out QWERTY keyboard, minus the Navigation pad of the original Droid. A virtual keyboard is also available. The Droid2 increases application processor power, maintaining dual-band CDMA-Ev-DO Rev A for communications. Applications support includes Google search by voice, Adobe Flash Player 10.1, speech to text feature, high-speed Web-Browsing and a number of other features on the Droid2’s Android 2.2 OS. The design supports 3G Mobile Hot-Spot, allowing up to five compatible devices to share a WiFi connection enabled via the phone’s cellular data connection. Still images and 720P video are captured with the 5 MP camera and stored on-board the Droid2’s 8GB user memory or in a microSD card slot which accommodates up to 32GB (an 8GB card is included). The 480x854 3.7” LCD is fronted with a capacitive touch-screen supporting multitouch. Motorola reports talk time of 8 hours and 220 hours of standby operation from the Droid2’s 3.7V / 1390mAh Li-Polymer battery.
