| Motorola launched the Karma QA1 cell phone through AT&T in 3Q 2009. Operating protocols are quad-band GSM (850/900/1800/1900 MHz), GPRS 12, EDGE 12, and dual-band W-CDMA (850/1900 MHz). Despite its slider form factor, Karma is shorter, wider, and smaller then the typical slider phone. Features include a 2.5-inch QVGA display (262,144 colors), 2-megapixel camera (8x digital zoom), full QWERTY keypad, 4-way navigation button with center select, 3.5mm headphone jack, micro USB connector, 100MB internal memory, and microSD card slot (up to 16 GB). Other features include stereo Bluetooth 2.0, A-GPS, music player, HTML browser, video record/playback, and messaging options. The unit is powered by a single-cell Li-ion battery. GSM talk time is a claimed 5.2 hours, while standby time is 347 hours.
