Product DescriptionThe W215 is a slim, lightweight, candy-bar style mobile phone geared toward users in India’s emerging lower-cost market who want a phone with color screen and limited feature set. The W215 still adds in a VGA camera with 4x digital zoom, FM radio with stereo headset, and SMS (Short Message Service) capability.
There is also 1MB of internal, user available, memory,
enough storage for 750 SMS messages and a 500-entry phonebook. The W215 features iTAP 5.5 predictive-text
entry for creating messages and a Handset Manager for downloading/uploading photos and ring-tones (via the headset jack).
Other features include an Alarm Clock, Calculator ,
Stopwatch, built-in Hands-Free Speaker, and Vibrator
Mode. The 3.7V, 910mAh Li-ion battery supports a reported 7.8 hours of talk-time and 307 hours of standby operation.
