Product Description

Released exclusively for AT&T in Q2 of 2008, the brown metallic MOTO Z9 slider phone offers many of the same features as the RAZR2 V9, and adds support for AT&T’s GPS Navigator location-based service. Like the RAZR2 V9, the MOTO Z9 features Motorola’s CrystalTalk for clear conversations in noisy environments, Bluetooth, HSDPA support for data transfer, flight mode, and a 2.4-in. QVGA (320 x 240 pixels) display. It also integrates a 2MP camera with an 8x digital zoom for still shots, with video capture and playback supported. The Z9’s internal memory can be expanded up to 8GB using the microSD slot. Other features include e-mail, speech recognition, a micro USB port, a 2000- entry address book, custom picture and ringer IDs, a music player, an Opera micro browser, streaming video, MMS, text messaging, PictBridge, Java, and personal info management tools. The component counts and functional area specific to GPS that deliver the GPS Navigator capabilities are highlighted on page 25 of this report. The Z9 is powered by a 3.7V Li-ion battery with a reported talk time of 3 hours and 288 hours of standby time ( for GSM).
