Product Description

The NEC N701i is part of the NTT DoCoMo FOMA line up. The boxy clamshell comes with a 1.2 megapixel external camera to capture still images as well as video. This camera provides standard images and has a macro function to capture objects as close as 6 to 8 inches. The internal camera captures mirror-images, mainly for display during video calling. The display is a 2.3 inch 240x345 pixel (slightly larger than QVGA) TFT LCD supporting 65,536 colors. The external display is a 1.0 inch, 120x30 pixel LCD supporting 2 colors. The N701i includes a music player, infrared port, and a barcode reader. The handset can be used as a TV remote via the infrared port. A Mini-SD expansion slot is available to increase the storage capabilities of the handset.
