Product DescriptionThe NEC e808Y is a bar-type “side-talker” (earpiece/microphone on edge) format 3G terminal with the addition of a Qwerty keyboard. A more PDA-centric version of the flip-style NEC e606S, the e808Y UMTS handset is equipped with two cameras for taking still images or video and has a 2X digital zoom. CIF still image resolution is 288 x 352 pixels without zoom and 120 x120 pixels with zoom. The Video Capture mode is QCIF with a resolution of 176 X 144 pixels with zoom. The cameras are also used for Video Calling, allowing the user to actually see the person they are speaking with if both phones are equipped with the Video Calling feature. The cameras are augmented with a 65K Color TFT display which has a resolution of 132 X 162 Pixels. Some of the other features include Java, voice recorder, voice dialing, polyphonic ring tones, Quick Map, Bulletins, MMS & SMS.
