Product DescriptionAccording to research conducted by Nikon Corporation, the new Coolpix P80 is the world’s smallest 18X zoom camera among competing models. The compact super zoom camera weighs only 394 grams with battery and is designed for the enthusiast looking for an alternative to DSLR in a camera with manual controls, but one that also has the convenience of point-and-shoot. In addition to its ultra zoom performance, the P80 features a 10 megapixel 1/2.33-inch CCD image sensor, and built in vibration reduction (VR) which uses sensor-shift techniques to counteract camera shake. The model includes a popup flash, an electronic viewfinder, and a 2.7” 230,000-dot wide angle TFT monitor with anti-reflection coating.
