Product DescriptionThe Wii utilizes motion-sensing technology for input from up to four Wii remote controls. In conjunction, the Wii is backward-compatible with traditional Nintendo controllers with four GameCube ports and two memory card slots. The Wii plays single or double layered standard optical discs as well as Nintendo GameCube discs. The Wii provides Audio and Video output with both composite or S-Video capabilities. The Wii also has wireless capabilities for connecting to the internet or a LAN with the Wii LAN adaptor. The Wii can also connect wirelessly with the portable Nintendo DS.
