|  A basic dual-band GSM phone, the Nokia 1208 is a slight improvement over its predecessor Nokia 1200 which used only a monochrome LCD to the 1208’s 65534 color STN display (refer to Portelligent Report #11804-071203-NTd for more details about the Nokia 1200). Aside from the upgraded display, the Nokia 1208 has all of the same features and ports as the Nokia 1200, which include a handy flashlight, 4 MB of total memory, MMS, text, and SMS messaging, time tracker, cost tracker, and pre-paid tracker, a call history log, a loudspeaker and a headphone port for hands-free calling, pre-installed MP3 and polyphonic ringtones, and three pre-installed games. The Nokia 1208 weighs only 74.6 grams with the 3.7V Li-Ion battery installed.
It is offered exclusively as a pre-paid phone from T-Mobile for $29.99.
