Product DescriptionThe Bar-form Nokia 5800 is the first “Finger” touch screen (resistive), phone introduced by Nokia post-iPhone. Also, a Stylus (tucked discreetly in to the back of the phone body) and a Guitar Pick/Wrist strap can be used to make menu selections. Geared perhaps towards a younger market, the Nokia 5800 has many entertainment and communication options. The 3.2 MP camera has a dedicated selection key, and a full-screen of menu icons to edit/personalize/send photos. There is an updated version of the S60 smart-phone software, Windows Explorer 5.0, 81MB of internal memory, and an 8GB microSD™ card included in-box and expandable to 16GB. An accelerometer automatically orients images (w/3D engine) on the 640 x 360 3.2inch nHD display, and Stereo speakers to enhance the audio experience. A swipe gesture can move around a screen or between photos in the gallery. Text messages can be composed via a Full / Mini QWERTY or numeric keyboards, or handwritten using the Stylus. There is also integrated & assisted GPS for auto & pedestrian use.
