Product Description

The Nokia 6555 is a slender clamshell phone operating on Quad-band GSM and Dual-band (US) WCDMA 3G networks. An analog clock is displayed on a 1.35” portrait external TFT display with 262K colors while a 2” main display with 16M colors serves as the primary user interface. This dedicated Push-To-talk phone with a 1.3 megapixel camera, capable of 6x digital zoom, also supports Bluetooth 2.0 stereo headsets and provides a memory card slot supporting up to 4GB for the music player. Nokia claims up to 3½ hours of GSM talk-time and 250 hours of standby operation from the 1100mA Li-Ion battery. With Nokia “Xpress” the user has the ability to combine image, video, text, and voice clips. Video recording and playback is supported by 3GPP, H.263, H.264, and MPEG formats with JPEG images for stills. Other features include XHTML browser for the internet, predictive text input support for languages in Europe, North America, and Latin America, email access supports SMTP, POP3, and IMAP4 protocols, plays MP3, AAC, eAAC+, and WMA music formats. Some other features include: 25 ring tones built in with the capacity to down load 64 polyphonic ring tones, one thousand phonebook entries, voice dialing and commands for control of phone features, flight mode for safe use of music and games on airplanes, and a dedicated camera side key for camera and video activation with zoom.
