Product DescriptionIn a bid to retain smartphone market leadership, Nokia rolls out the latest addition to the E-series, the business-friendly Nokia E71. Slimmed down and sporting substantial exterior metal, the unit builds on the E-series reputation as a serious work tool while quietly adding multimedia and entertainment functionality. Texting is made easy with the full QWERTY keyboard, and the 2.36" QVGA (320 x 240) TFT-LCD display is complemented with both a rear-facing 3.2MP autofocus camera and a forward-facing QCIF video-call camera. Wireless connectivity choices include WiFi (with VoIP), Bluetooth, and Infrared. Multimedia functions are managed by the music/media player, which supports a variety of file formats along with FM radio. Wired data storage and transfer is available via the hot-swappable microSD card slot and micro USB port. New to the E-series is the inclusion of GPS navigation with a voice-guidance option. Speaker phone and push-to-talk options are also included.
