Product DescriptionOnStar FMV (For My Vehicle) is an aftermarket vehicle telemetric device that performs most of the functions of an OEM/GM pre-installed OnStar system but for a wider variety of car makes and models. Key features include automatic crash response, theft protection, road side assistance, turn-by-turn navigation, and hands-free calling. The system works on most GM vehicles and other vehicle models made after 1988. Installation is accomplished by replacing the rear-view mirror with a special electronics-filled mirror. The system is manufactured by OnStar (a wholly owned subsidiary of GM). Sales and installation by trained professionals, such as their initial partner Best Buy, is recommended.
