Product DescriptionThe BlackBerry 7230 is Research In Motion’s first model with a color screen. The 64k color, transflective 160x240 pixel display is readable in bright daylight without the backlight. Another improvement over the previous RIM 5800 series is that it doesn’t require a hands-free kit for use as a phone. The Smartphone uses the popular RIM QWERTY keyboard and is best known for it’s strength in email and SMS. The enterprise email system can manage up to ten web-based accounts including attachments. The phone is used on a Tri-band GSM/GPRS network, and employs the RIM Java (J2ME) operating system.
