Product DescriptionWith a small form factor measuring less than 110mm in length and less than 16mm in thickness, the Blackberry Curve 8900 is a world quadband GSM phone with EDGE/GPRS data capability. With the 3.7v/1380mAh Lithium Ion battery installed, the Curve weighs 110.8grams. The design features a full QWERTY keypad, a sensitive trackball for scrolling through the phone’s menus, and a 3.2MP camera. The top and sides of the Curve all have functioning keys, with the top keys of the Curve being dedicated to phone lock and mute. The Curve provides separate ports for the microUSB and included hands-free headset. Bluetooth v2.0 is also another option for hands-free operation of the Curve. To expand the Curve 8900’s 256MB internal memory, there is a microSD memory port accessible by removing the battery cover. The Curve comes preloaded with an organizer, games, Blackberry Maps, has access via Wi-Fi 802.11b/g to Blackberry Enterprise and Internet servers. The Curve 8900 supports email, SMS, MMS, and text messaging. Its media player supports audio file types .3pg, WAV, MIDI, AMR-NB, G711u/A, GSM610, PCM, MP3, AAC/AAC+/eAAC+, and wma9/10. The Curve 8900 also supports DivX, Xvid, H.6263, and WMV3 video formats.
