Product Description

Released by Samsung in Q2 2009, the S3500 Quad-Band GSM (w/ EDGE) slider sits at the upper end of the mid-range phone market. It sports a 2.22-in. TFT-LCD display (16,777,216 colors; 240x320 pixels) as well as features such as a FM radio with recording capability, video capture, and a 2MP camera. Powered by a 3.7V, 800mAh Li-ion battery, the S3500 delivers a reported talk time of 6 hours with a standby time of 380 hours. An interesting feature is the phone’s ability to make fake phone calls to help the user get out of uncomfortable or possibly dangerous situations. The S3500 also offers Mobile Tracker 2.0, which helps locate a lost or stolen phone when the SIM card is replaced. Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR, MP3 player, microSD (up to 8GB), and voice recorder round out the remaining features.
