Product DescriptionReleased by Verizon, the Droid Charge with Android 2.2 (Froyo) is a dual-mode CDMA and LTE phone with a 4.3” Super AMOLED Plus touchscreen display. It has two cameras: a 1.3 MP camera for video calling and video voice messaging and an 8 MP camera located on the back for taking photos and video. The Droid Charge has an HDMI port that can be used for such things as outputting video to a TV screen. It’s also DNLA certified, allowing you to share photos, music, and videos with other DNLA-ready devices. The Charge also features 802.11n WiFi and Bluetooth, along with FM radio, GPS navigation, and a compass. The pre-installed 2 GB microSD memory can be upgraded to 32 GB. The 3.7 V Li-Ion battery provides a reported talk time of 11 hours and a standby time of 280 hours. As these times were reported by Samsung, it’s assumed they reflect talk times on the CDMA network.
