Product DescriptionReleased through T-Mobile, the Samsung SGH-t819 is a slim, coffee-colored, slider-form mobile phone. The SGH-t819’s feature set is comparable to that found in most slider cell phones and along with Quad-band GSM/EDGE supports T- Mobile’s now-active 1700MHz WCDMA band for UMTS service. Features include an MP3 music player, stereo
Bluetooth, and a 1.3MP camera with self-portrait mirror for capturing the moment in still photos or video (QCIF quality). The camera resides on the back of the main body (top-right side), rather than the more usual position at the center-top of the slider. As a result, the camera can be operated with the slider down. The user can transfer captured photos, downloaded music files, videos, and images from the 30MB of internal memory to the microSD (expandable) memory card; download 64-chord polyphonic ringtones, screensavers, and J2ME games; or customize caller ID with music or photos. There is a 1K-contact phonebook (6 numbers/entry), and VoiceSignal speech-recognition software allows the user to voice-dial, dictate memos, or create voicemail. Other basics include vibrate & plane modes, T9 text, SMS, EMS, MMS, e-mail, chat (AOL, ICQ, Windows Live, Yahoo), calendar, to-do list, calculator w/ unit converter, and alarm.
