Product Description

The Samsung SGH-a127 is a light-weight, no frills clamshell with a VGA-resolution camera and two displays. The handset is currently available in the North American market through AT&T Wireless as part of their “Pay-As-You-Go” series. The dual displays of the SGH-a127 are an internal C-STN display (128 x 160 pixels, 65,536 colors) and an external B&W panel (96 x 96 pixels). The camera supports “multishot” mode, with the user able to select 6, 9, or 15 images taken in rapid succession. Other key features include a 300-entry address book; a SIM card that can be used as external memory; voice memo and voice mail capabilities; a speakerphone; multiparty calling; a world-time clock; an alarm; a currency converter; a calculator; SMS, EMS, and MMS messaging support; T9 predictive text input; and 16-note polyphonic ring tones. AT&T Wireless claims talk-time of 5 hours and up to 250 hours of standby operation for the SGH-a127.
