Product DescriptionThe SGH-i600 is Samsung’s European version of their popular, Blackberry-like SGH-i607 Blackjack offered in U.S. markets. This smartphone features 3G and HSDPA connectivity, WiFi, Bluetooth, and two digital cameras--one forward facing VGA for video calling and one rear facing 1.3 megapixel for snapshots. The i600 uses Microsoft's Windows Mobile 5 OS, but Samsung has customized the home page for a more graphically interactive interface allowing the user to scroll through key features on the 2.3-inch, 320x240 pixel TFT display screen. The unit is controlled using a full QWERTY keyboard and thumbwheel. With a hot swappable microSD card (up to 2GB) the i600 is suited for multimedia applications, while on-board memory consists of 64MB of RAM and 128MB ROM. Other features include micro-USB, music and video players, and internal antenna. Advertised talk time is 4.75 hours for GSM and 3.5 hours for WCDMA from a 1200 mAh Li-Ion battery.
