Product DescriptionSamsung debuted the ultra-small WEP500 Bluetooth headset in the third quarter of 2007 in North America. Like the WEP200, the WEP500 is one of the smallest Bluetooth headsets currently available. Unlike reports on the WEP200, the WEP500 is considerably easier to pair with a Bluetooth-capable phone. Reportedly, it is also equipped with better noise reduction and echo cancellation. Weighing just 9.1 grams, this headset uses Bluetooth 2.0 Technology. A volume control button and a multi-function button are the only controls on the unit. The multi-function button handles pairing and all phone-related duties. Samsung uses a small jewel-style case for charging the 3.7V Li-ion battery. Reported talk time is 3.5 hours with an 80 hour standby.
