Product DescriptionThe WS007SH is the result of a three-party collaboration between Sharp, Willcom and Microsoft. This mobile phone/mini-computer operates on the Personal Handyphone System (PHS) network in Japan. An interesting aspect of the 007 is that the RF chipset, together with the antenna, is integrated within the W-SIM module provided by Willcom, which also stores the 700-entry contact list. Some additional features included are the horizontal slide (exposing the QWERTY keypad), Intel processor, Microsoft Windows Mobile Pocket PC software, 60MB of User Available Flash memory, 1.3 Mega-pixel camera, video recorder, mini-SD card slot, USB port, dual keypads, 4-way navigation wheel with a center-select button, earphone/microphone port, PIM functions, Windows Media Player, and a barcode reader. The large 2.8-inch LCD display uses Sharp's Advanced Super View (ASV) technology with a display resolution of 640 x 480 pixels and 65,536 colors. The touch screen switches to horizontal viewing mode when the unit is open. The Sharp WS007SH weighs 171 grams with battery, measures 135 x 57 mm, and is 22 mm thick. The 3.7v Li-ion battery is claimed to provide 7 hours of talk time, and 300 hours of standby time with the indicator light on, 500 hours with it off.
