Product DescriptionT-Mobile again represents Danger with a new entry in the Sidekick series, the LX. This Sharp-manufactured model of the text-centric devices has a slightly slimmer, lighter body than earlier models. Other upgrades include Quad-band GSM with EDGE, MMS capability, a 3.5mm jack for music headphone, Web-browser enhancements, and improved JavaScript support. The 3-inch Sharp HD QVGA LCD is clear and readable even in bright daylight, thanks to an ambient light sensor and transflective backlighting. The LX features the softer keypad cover of the Sidekick II instead of the hard plastic version found on the Sidekick III. The “D” pad on the left side of the keypad doubles as a speaker. There is a 1.3-megapixel camera with LED flash, and the multicolored “Mood” lighting of the LEDs (located under the Trackball and in the device corners) can be customized for communication alerts. The phonebook has a capacity of 2K multi-entry contacts. You can download JAVA™ games and MP3 and AAC music files, and can e-mail with built-in IM (AOL, Windows Live, and Yahoo). There is 64MB of internal memory, which is expandable using the included 128MB microSD card. Up to 4GB expansion is supported. The 3.7V / 1540mAh Li-ion battery has a claimed 6.8 hours of talk time and 96.0 hours of standby operation.
