Product DescriptionThe K550i Cyber-shot is a bar-form, GSM/EDGE phone that sports many of the same features as the popular Sony Ericsson W810, but in a slimmer, lighter package.
The K550i targets those seeking a mid-priced phone with features such as a 2 MP Cyber-Shot camera with dual LED flash, auto-focus, self-portrait mirror, and PicBridge™ photo editor. QCIF video capture is also available, with data transfer via Bluetooth™, Infrared, or the USB port. The K550i has up to 64MB of user available memory, expandable to 2GB with a Memory Stick Micro. Email is supported via POP3 or IMAP4, and web browsing via NewFront™ Browser 3.3 software. The 1.9 inch TFD-LCD display with 176 x 220 pixels is capable of producing 262,477 colors. Users can stay in touch with T9 text messaging, two-way text messaging, SMS, EMS, or MMS; while the phonebook accommodates 1000 multi-entry contacts. The K550i also supports JAVA downloads, a FM radio with search function, Picture/Ringer Caller ID, Voice Dialing & Memo, Vibrate Mode, Flight Mode, and typical PIM functions such as calculator, calendar, To-Do List, speakerphone, and alarm. The 3.6V/950mAh battery is reported to deliver up to 7 hours of talk time and 350 hours in standby.
