Product DescriptionThe moderately priced Vivaz, by Sony Ericsson, is a slab format phone with clear emphasis on video recording. The touch screen is resistive, so deliberate finger tapping or use of the included stylus is required to make menu selections and other inputs. The Vivaz includes A-GPS provides for navigation/geo-tagging, Stereo Bluetooth®, a virtual keyboard to Email, IM, Text (T9), SMS, or MMS message. A press of the dedicated video key on the Vivaz enables recording in HD (720p) from the 8.1MP image sensor, also of course for still shots. A dedicated recording light and continuous auto focus help with shooting, and direct upload to YouTube or Picasa is enabled via WiFi. Also, there is a WAP Web-browser and memory expansion to 32 GB using a microSD card. SE claims 13 hours of active use and 430 hours of standby operation on their OEM Li-Ion 3.7 V / 1200 mAh battery.
