Product DescriptionThe NEX-3 and NEX-5 are Sony’s latest mirror-less SLR cameras, sometimes referred to SLD (single-lens, direct-view) digital cameras. The NEX-3K, analyzed here, is the kit version that contains the NEX-3 body and an E-mount f/3.5-5.6, 18-3mm interchangeable lens, along with various accessories, including a removable flash attachment. The camera body contains a 14-megapixel Exmor HD CMOS sensor and employs a new Bionz processor with a 3-inch, 921,000 dot, tilting LCD. The camera supports continuous autofocus and exposure adjustment while recording video and includes impressive features such as sweep panorama, auto high dynamic range shooting, handheld twilight and anti-motion blur modes, burst shooting modes, and more.
